Sutton Foster was a Tony Award winner in recognition of her Tony Award winning performance as Anything Goes in Thoroughly Modern Millie and in Little Women. The first time she appeared on the television screen in Star Search at age 15, and has more recently performed in Bunheads, Psych, Johnny and the Sprites, Flight of the Conchords, Sesame Street, Law and Order SVU as well as Royal Pains. As a solo artist, Sutton has appeared across the United States as well as internationally together with her musical director Michael Rafter... with songs from her first solo CD "Wish" along with the follow-up CD "An Evening with Sutton Foster: Live at the Caf Carlyle." The singer has appeared on stage at Carnegie Hall, Feinstein's, Lincoln Center's American Songbook series, Joe's Pub and many others. She was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in the year 2011 at Ball State University, where she is also an advisor and faculty member to the Department of Theatre and Dance. The actress has been on the show TV Land's "Younger" produced by Darren Star, since March 2015.
