Yael Yael, an Australian resident of New York City, played Lorna in Orange Is the New Black. Yael has a degree from NIDA. Yael despite her young age, has had the privilege of learning from Australia's most renowned storytellers. Yael has a very successful career in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael discovered her new home with the city of New York City when the production played to critical acclaim at The Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM). Yael has been a co-founder of The Cannery. It is located in The Cannery, a Bushwick Brooklyn studio, they support new artistic writings, and are a source of inspiration for new concepts.
